What Evidence Do I Have?
1. Facilitate and Inspire Student Learning and Creativity Comida Webquest Reflection: This webquest allows students to have creative reflection and use technology outside of the classroom, collaboratively. This outside research allows students to have more credible work by searching more databases and finding other resources. My Future Learning Goals: Allowing students to create an out of class, technology based assignment a couple times a semester will foster this standard. 2. Design and Develop Digital Age Learning Experiences and Assessments Google Gradebook Comida Webquest Reflection: The Google Gradebook allows students to manage their own learning and assess their progress throughout the course. The Webquest has a rubric embedded into the assignment, providing students with a varied summative assessment. My Future Learning Goals: Students can evaluate each other through the rubric provided, as well as, have access to an updated grade book in order to evaluate their progress in the class. 3. Model Digital Age Work and Learning Classroom Website Reflection: The classroom website is the best way to exhibit my knowledge and skills in the digital society. It allows parents to see what is happening in our classroom, as well as, allows students to work from home and know what is happening in class if they miss a day or forgot the homework assignment. My Future Learning Goals: I could also incorporate a class blog where students can have discussions, maybe use edmodo, and model their knowledge of technology. 4. Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and Responsibility Cyberbullying & Copyright Presentation Classroom Website Reflection: This presentation on Copyright & Cyberbullying advocates and models safe use of technology. Also there is a page on my classroom website sharing similar information about Cyber Safety. My Future Learning Goals: Through the use of a class blog or edmodo I can model and promote responsible social interactions and proper etiquette online. 5. Engage in Professional Growth and Leadership Edmodo MiWLA Conference Reflection: In being a member of Edmodo I can collaborate with other educators and students to discuss technology and the incorporation of technology. Upon attending the MiWLA conference, I learn more ways to incorporate technology into the foreign language classroom. My Future Learning Goals: My goal for this area is to continue to create lessons and assessments where students can access and create using Edmodo. |
